About this site

I’ve been making websites professionally since 2001 and personally since 2004.

Having become immersed in the world of the web at work, it became a huge interest at home.

I received a Distinction in the Level 3 ‘Diploma in Web Design’ from The Association of Certified IT Professionals in 2005, and have since been working on a number of my own web projects.

In my professional life my team and I won a Webby Award in the 'Communities section' during 2006, an award won by Flickr the year after.

In my personal life it's proved much harder to replicate that success and build a popular, high-performing website.

I’ve moved from basic HTML, Dreamweaver and Photoshop sites to using PHP to develop more complex database driven websites.

I've built more than 10 commercial websites in the past couple of years, but none has worked so well for me since I discovered Site Build It! by chance in 2008.

I've used the company's web tools to build Web-Work-At-Home.com and already it's out-performing all of my other sites.

When building my other websites, I had no problem getting hold of a cheap hosting package and building the sites myself, but when it came to generating web traffic, that was another thing altogether!

It was easy enough making websites, but building websites that get enough traffic was a huge problem.

I stumbled across Site Build It! by accident and thought it was a 'Get Rich Quick' scam at first.

The more I read, and the more I checked out independent reviews, the more I became intrigued.

It gives me all the web building tools that I've used professionally, and all the 'best practice' tips I've learned personally, in one package. Hands typing at laptop keyboard

It's also suitable for complete beginners or web professionals - you can either use the step-by-step site builder or upload pages from your favourite software, like Dreamweaver or Frontpage.

I started with the site builder while I was getting used to the new system, but now I'm making web pages for this site in Dreamweaver.

As such, you'll see me recommending Site Build It! across the board on this website as I've discovered nothing yet that does the job better.
